I'm Bleeding Tea

It's the last week before Easter Break. This 3 week break is settled conveniently just before finals are due. After booking flights/hostels to be in Italy for the entire 3 weeks, we realized people actually do a lot of work over this so called "break." As for us, well, we're working like mad this week. Wish us luck.

Almost Easter

Any time Grandma sends me a greeting card, she always includes a photo from her massive collection of family photos.

Tynemouth Take II

It is a brisk 50 degrees out today but that didn't stop us from going to the beach. The sun was out and it was beautiful. My roommates Aleia and Fanny, and I, hopped on the metro around 1 pm and headed for the coast. We sat on the beach for a while and I dared to put my feet into the freezing water of the North Sea. My feet were like ice cubes. But none-the-less, it was beautiful, a great day for someone with a sailboat.
Shade took over the beach eventually, so we went for a bite to eat. Fish and chips sounded like a good idea. We went to a place called Marshall's right there on the coast. It was a very British place, no tourists in site. (Except us). The fish was good and the cup of tea was very relaxing. At that point, we headed back to Newcastle. It was an exhausting day.

Residents of Barcelona pay a yearly fee so they can use these bicycles that are all around the city. You take a bike off and when you get your destination, find a place nearby to return it. Great idea.

Barcelona Part XX: Last Design Studio Visit

Probably the best Design studio we visited. They had a sweet portfolio and we had seen alot of their stuff just walking the streets of Barcelona. They designed the huge H&M flagship store as well as a ton of marketing for them. They also were finishing up an indie animation film called "Chico & Rita" that will debut at the Cannes Film Festival. Sweeeeeet place.
